The Opportunity

When you join PwC Acceleration Centers (ACs), you step into a pivotal role focused on actively

supporting various Acceleration Center services, from Advisory to Assurance, Tax and Business

Services. In our innovative hubs, you’ll engage in challenging projects and provide distinctive

services to support client engagements through enhanced quality and innovation. You’ll also

participate in dynamic and digitally enabled training that is designed to grow your technical and

professional skills.

As part of the Operations Consulting team you are set to provide specialized knowledge in

healthcare provider revenue cycle management. As a Specialist you are expected to handle intricate

tasks and conduct in-depth analyzes to support specific projects, promoting quality results that

drive benefits for our clients. This role presents a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic

environment, collaborating with multiple teams to enhance processes and improve patient care

outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Supply specialized knowledge in healthcare provider revenue cycle management
  • Execute tasks and perform analyzes for project support
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to enhance operational workflows

What You Must Have

  • Minimum Qualification: Any Undergraduate Degree (10+2 or Equivalent) OR Graduate Degree in any

discipline from a recognized university/institution

  • 6+ Months of experience in healthcare provider revenue cycle management
  • Understanding of medical billing processes, insurance claims, and reimbursement methodologies
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with insurance companies,

patients, and internal stakeholders

  • Proficiency in using billing software, electronic health records (EHR), and Microsoft Office

applications

  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Oral and written proficiency in English required
  • Shift timings: Flexible to work in night shifts (US Time zone)

What Sets You Apart

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Commerce, Medical Technology preferred
  • Knowledge of medical coding (ICD-10, CPT)
  • Familiarity with UB-04 and/or CMS-1500 claim forms
  • Experience with Epic HB or PB systems
  • Excelling in documentation and reporting
  • Adhering to HIPAA regulations and guidelines
  • Collaborating with internal departments to resolve issues
  • Identifying and resolving payment delays
