Overview

AtkinsRealis is looking for Apprentice from Structures or civil background.

Your role

• Assist in the analysis and design of steel and concrete structures.
• Work with structural software such as STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAP, ROBOT, SAFE, MATHCAD, ABAQUS, or ANSYS.
• Support FEA analysis tasks for building and steel structure components.
• Prepare reinforcement detailing for concrete elements.
• Prepare BOQ/ Estimates as required for concrete and Steel structures
• Create sketches and basic detailing for steel connections (e.g., stiffeners, plates).
• Follow international codes such as IS, ACI, AISC, ASCE, Eurocodes, and CSA during design tasks.
• Prepare technical reports, calculation notes, and engineering documentation.
• Review and refine technical reports with guidance from senior engineers.
• Assist in structural modelling activities for ongoing projects.
• Use additional structural tools such as IDEA StatiCa, TEDDS, or RAM Connection (preferred).
• Contribute to dynamic and seismic analysis tasks where required.
• Demonstrate good analytical thinking and willingness to learn practical aspects of structural engineering.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and participate in project discussions and reviews.
  
  

About You

• Masters in Structural Engineering or BE civil Engineering
• Steel/Concrete domain.
• Design and FEA Analysis of Buildings and Steel structures
• Experience in any of the software like ROBOT/STAAD Pro/ ETABS/SAP/MATHCAD/ABAQUS/ANSYS/SAFE
• Reinforcement Detailing and Providing sketches for Steel connections
• High level technical report writing skill and report review
• International code - IS, ACI, AISC, ASCE, Eurocodes and CSA
  
  

Preferred Skill

• Report writing skills are highly preferred.
• Good Analytical skills and Practical things
• Experience of structural software tools (i.e., IDEA STATICA, TEDDS, RAM Connection)
• Good Understanding in Dynamic & Seismic analysis of structures.
