Process/Function Description:
This position lies within the FX and Precious Metals Options Confirmation Team. The role would be to draft and review Confirmations and process all Outbound and Incoming Confirmations tasks across the FX and Precious Metals Options Trades and Energy E2E processing, focusing and ensuring the timely confirmation retrieval within the EMIR and DFA requirements.
Individual needs to have eye for detail, drive, passion for such work, and be a self-starter. Excellent spoken and written English and French are critical for success in this role. Meeting customer service delivery within agreed operating guidelines and the respective currency payment cut-off time and due diligence requirements are also a core aspect of this role.
Job Requirements
Role of Analyst:
- Queue Management between Confirmations processes. Exception management & Prioritization.
- Pro-actively review and identify knowledge/control gaps within process and take necessary action to mitigate risks.
- To continuously provide high quality processing service to achieve maximum customer satisfaction within the specified SLAs.
- Responsible for relationship building and resolving customer inquiries in a professional manner (where applicable). Other responsibilities dependent on process assigned to.
- Supporting the team performance within the department supporting all product lines and initiatives.
- Supporting the daily operations ensuring that customers receive quality service through all channels of customer contact.
- Ensure achievement of Service Level Agreement (SLA) targets by self, prevent and mitigate operational losses and utilize budget and resources within established requirements.
Knowledge & Qualifications (For the Role - Not the role holder. Minimum requirements of the role)
Knowledge
- Experience in FX and Precious Metals Options and Derivatives Knowledge would be an added advantage.
- A degree in accounting/finance/management/Business Administration. Higher qualification not a bar provided aspirations commensurate with the position.
Experience: Not Mandatory
Skills
- Ability to speak and understand English and French fluently. French language proficiency minimum of level B2.
- Ability to write business letters and reports
- Good conversational / telephone skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and transfer knowledge appropriately.
- Possess knowledge on MS Office with good numerical and analytical skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts.
- Ability to build rapport with and relate to and effectively develop a wide range of people.
- Ability to maintain focus while working with voluminous data.
- Ability to multitask
- Good communication, planning, and organizing skills.
- Good initiation of improvements. Open to change.
- Able to work under challenging environment with tight timelines.

Expectations regarding hybrid working: As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office (which may be the clients offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our clients policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our clients now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita require.
