About The Role
HackerRank's Content Studio is building the content engine for one of the most recognizable brands in technical hiring. We create video, social, and written content for a B2B audience of CHROs and CTOs, produced in-house from our Bangalore studio. We're a small team, we move fast, and we use AI as a core part of how we work.
What You Will Do
Write and strategize across formats: LinkedIn posts, youtube scripts, Twitter threads, product narratives, event recaps, and more.
Translate complex ideas from product, sales, and leadership into content that resonates with senior enterprise buyers.
Bring structure to the content calendar: define pillars, build reuse into the workflow, and think beyond the next post.
Script video content for the studio, understanding that what reads well on paper lands differently on camera.
Be present where the story is: events, offsites, customer conversations. You treat those as source material, not scheduling conflicts.
Work alongside AI tools to accelerate first drafts, then apply the judgment and editorial layer that makes the output worth publishing.
Who You Are
2–5 years of content writing experience in a B2B SaaS, tech, or developer-tools environment, with a portfolio that shows range across formats.
Strong instinct for audience segmentation and you write differently for a CHRO than for an engineering leader, and it shows.
Proven ability to hold strategy and execution simultaneously: you can take a content brief and run with it, without four rounds of alignment.
You're AI-native in practice, not just in theory. You use tools like Claude Code, ChatGPT, or similar as a starting point, and then you make it better.
You're based in Bangalore and comfortable working in-person at the studio.
Skilled at building content systems, not just one-off pieces you think about pillar topics, reuse, and narrative arcs across a calendar.
Even better if you have
Experience writing for developer or HR tech audiences you understand what resonates with people who can smell a generic take from a mile away.
Experience building or owning a content system, not just contributing to one.
A following or published work that shows you understand what makes content travel.
You will thrive in this role if
You're comfortable with ambiguity and can create structure where there isn't any.
You care about the quality of a sentence the same way an engineer cares about clean code.
Being in the room matters to you. Customer calls, events and off-sites are inputs, not distractions.
Content is infrastructure in your mind, not just output system, reuse and long-term narrative come before the first word.
Fast iteration is your default shipping a draft that is 80% there beats waiting for perfection.
