The Store Manager position at Reliance Retail is a full-time, mid-level opportunity based in Belagavi and Dharwad. Qualifications And Skills
Retail Operations experience is a mandatory skill, with a proven ability to manage all aspects of a diversified retail store environment (Mandatory skill).
Demonstrated expertise in team leadership, motivating staff to achieve performance targets while fostering a positive work culture in a high-traffic retail setting.
In-depth knowledge of inventory management processes, including stock monitoring, replenishment, loss prevention, and effective use of inventory control systems.
Exceptional customer service orientation with a track record of resolving customer concerns and consistently enhancing in-store experiences.
Strong sales forecasting abilities backed by data-driven insights to plan and implement strategies for achieving sales and revenue objectives.
Creative proficiency in visual merchandising, ensuring attractive display layouts that drive customer engagement and improve product uptake.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with customers, staff, and external stakeholders across all retail functions.
Ability to manage store finances, including budgeting, expense control, and daily reconciliation, ensuring business profitability and compliance.
Roles And Responsibilities
Supervise overall store operations, ensure high standards of product availability, cleanliness, and adherence to company guidelines.
Lead, coach, and develop the in-store team to drive engagement, productivity, and optimal customer satisfaction.
Implement inventory management systems to maintain optimal stock levels, minimize losses, and support audit processes.
Analyze sales data and market trends to prepare forecasts, set achievable targets, and implement initiatives to exceed goals.
Execute visual merchandising strategies that maximize footfall and encourage effective product placement within the store.
Oversee customer interactions, address issues proactively, and foster a welcoming shopping environment for loyal and new customers alike.
Monitor store expenses, prepare operational reports, and maintain compliance with company standards and statutory regulations.
Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners to manage timely deliveries, stock replenishment, and local marketing initiatives.
