Role Title: Maintenance & Reliability Engineer

• Role Purpose
• Lead Risk-Based Maintenance (RBM) programs to enhance asset reliability and operational performance through continuous, data-driven improvements aligned with industry best practices for sustainable and cost-effective operations
• Serve as the Technical Lead for rotating equipment and critical mechanical packages, driving maintenance re-engineering and reliability improvement initiative.

Demonstrated Capabilities

• Develop and execute Reliability Engineering methodologies, RCM & FMECA to enhance asset performance across onshore and offshore facilities.
• Conduct risk-based criticality assessment and SCE identification to ensure asset integrity & safety.
• Provide specialized technical support for the evaluation, and optimization of existing maintenance strategies for critical mechanical packages.
• Collaborate with reliability engineers and consultants to support and enhance value-added preventive maintenance (PM) activities
• Skilled in qualitative Reliability tools and techniques such as Root Cause Analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis and Reliability Centred Maintenance facilitation.
• Conduct RCM studies for critical assets & rotary equipment’s and drive maintenance program optimization.
• Ensure reliability and optimal performance of turbines, compressors, pumps, and other rotating equipment across the entire asset lifecycle
• Apply reliability engineering methodologies including lifecycle asset management, risk management, criticality assessment, bad actor identification, and single point failure analysis to enhance asset performance
• Prepare, review, and standardize maintenance strategies for rotating equipment, ensuring compliance with OEM guidelines, reliability engineering principles.
• Demonstrate expert-level knowledge in maintenance and reliability of Gas Turbines (GTs), Steam Turbine Generators (STGs), pumps, diesel generator (DG) sets, gearbox systems, and compressors.
• Develop maintenance plans for rotating equipment to ensure they operate within acceptable standards, with the objective of achieving zero breakdowns.
• Proficient in advancing digital maintenance initiatives through CMMS optimization, enabling data-driven decision-making to improve operational efficiency.

Work Experience

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in Reliability, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering within the manufacturing sector (preferably Oil & Gas, Chemicals, or Energy).
• Proven experience in executing 5+ end-to-end project cycles for RCM, Criticality Assessment, and PM optimization strategies for rotating equipment.
