Purpose
This position leads the change management portfolio for all technology-based advancements & practices in Distribution Stream at K-Electric (KE). This position is responsible to foster change in operational practices and process lead times. Evaluates impact w.r.t. new work methodology, train, re-defines roles/ responsibilities, KPIs and process TAT according to new policies, procedures, and process interlockings. These responsibilities are performed with an objective to give KE a picture of what the future looks like after the change is implemented. It tells stakeholders why they should let go of the conventional practices, sacrifice, and work hard in the present, and follow the transformation onwards. The objectives are performed within the limits of operational continuity and KE vision.
Required Education: Bachelors in Industrial & Manufacturing or Electrical Engineering. (Masters in Supply Chain preferred).
Relevant Experience
5+ years of progressive experience in Industrial Engineering, Process Improvement & Governance, Lean Manufacturing, Inventory Management & Material Planning , Change Management, Training & Development.
Proven track record of leading large-scale projects (e.g., plant layout, ERP implementation).
Strong command of lean tools: VSM, Kaizen, Poka Yoke, Jidoka, TPM, Kanban, etc.
Proficiency in business management, statistics, analytics, and spreadsheet.

Apply a change management process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a technology project or initiative
Evaluate business modelling avenues and effectively upgrade them for alignment to new technology intervention
Change management for technology Interventions on existing business processes with respect to work streams, process lead time, skill set
Identify and plan associated changes linked with process optimization initiatives requiring, training, talent review, cost & resource optimization
Identify clear roles and responsibilities for staff due to technology intervention or process optimization
Design process KPI to realize the post implementation project benefits in terms of people, process, and practice efficiency
Identify future scalability of technology, link identified benefits and plan integration of use cases with existing IT/OT platforms
Identify, analyze, and prepare risk mitigation tactics for change management methodologies
Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities
Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
Assist HR with assessment & optimization of staff component to optimize the effective implementation of the project
Introduce effective process quality practices for standardization across distribution operations
Introduce process lead time post assessment of time motion study
Define key performance indicators to identify success criteria and measure utilization and effectiveness post implementation of technology product
Define project scalability, archiving & data retention policy, operational framework, cost rationalization opportunities and segregation of duties with role/ responsibility marking
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication 25%
Identify key stakeholders for change management at the organizational level
Collaborate with leadership (CXO) to gather sponsorship on the change management strategies and drives CAPEX intensive interventions
Collaborate with process owners, business leads, stakeholders and manage their expectations
Engage internal stakeholders (distribution operations, IT, business finance, procurement) and external stakeholders (consultants) to perform fulfillment of initiatives’ objective
Bring alignment on the objectives and support for implementation from business finance and procurement to speed up related supply chain cycle
Establish effective communication plan with essential buy-in from internal/ external stakeholders
Create actionable deliverables for communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan and resistance management plan
- Analytical Assessment for Implementation Plan 10%
Interprets data, identify patterns and analyzes results using statistical techniques to find risks or opportunities and provides reports / recommendations to leadership
Review data to perform validation of change management strategies and move into appropriate direction
Conduct impact analyses and assess change readiness for right stakeholder engagement
Identify, plan, and manage anticipated resistance areas based on analytical assessment of process and practices
Integrate change management activities into project plan for effective implementation and results
Perform cost benefit analysis and time motion study for the change initiative
Evaluate payback period and return on investment of improvement initiatives
Prepare change management strategies to reduce expenses, increase revenue, and maximize efficiency
Evaluate cost structures and budgetary impact of the proposed changes
Track implementation progress and prepare updates for leadership
- Capacity Building & Training 10%
Identify skill development opportunities and collaborate with DNA for skill assessment areas in distribution operation stream
Support the design, development, delivery, and management team for capacity building and training
Consult and coach project teams, managers, and supervisors to improve understanding across team
Evaluate and ensure user readiness for adoption of change and organize workshop to upgrade them
Prepare communication and training plans to enable smooth implementation of the product
Provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of training programs
Establish training and video tutorial for smooth onboarding and transition from old to new process adoptions
Provide continuous feedback and follow-up regarding operational guidelines, process, and system developments
Create and evaluate Return on Investment, financial models for proposed and existing training and development initiatives
Perform goal setting, midyear feedback, yearly appraisals
Develop successor to grow and obtain leading roles from company’s internal resource pool
Handle interpersonal conflicts as they arise and ensuring employees are motivated to move forward once a resolution is found
Lead employee training and making sure job responsibilities, expectations and company-wide goals are communicated clearly
Manage deadlines so employees don’t fall behind on responsibilities, leading to disruptions that could affect the entire company
Build company culture and facilitating employees to enter and exit the workplace in a healthy state of mind each day
Supervising work, providing clear direction to maximize effectiveness and productivity
Prepare and implement department annual budget for change management
Facilitate the team to meet and improve on cost, efficiency, and quality targets in line with business objectives
Ensure cashflow and consumption on monthly basis
Establish business case feasibility and approval from Business Finance, procurement, and leadership
Contribute to subsequent technical assessments of the product or vendor selection
- Technology Project Monitoring 5%
Monitor and track technology roadmap projects for their deliverables, milestones, and realization of associated benefits with internal stakeholders
Establish technology roadmap partnering with IT & strategic process optimization initiatives, cost benefit analysis, impact evaluation of technological intervention and their synchronization with P&E goals
Establish controlled and procedural mechanism for review, alignment, approval of change requests, tracking & escalation of identified bottlenecks
Define documentation templates and necessary formats for each project life cycle stage
Ensure to evaluate and share progress of technology initiatives aligned to P&E roadmap
