Senior SW Test Engineer

MantaRay NM is a cutting-edge network management platform that empowers telecommunications providers to efficiently operate, optimize, and assure their complex network infrastructures. As a Test Engineer, you will independently own test automation, continuous integration, and regression for specific feature areas, ensuring high-quality product verification. Your responsibilities will include building and maintaining pipelines, test environments, and release verification processes, covering feature, system, deployment, upgrade, security, and release testing. You will leverage Agentic AI tools to accelerate test design and automation, and coach junior engineers on best practices in Robot Framework, Python, CI, and test reliability. This role requires expertise in cloud-native software testing on containerized platforms, utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.

Responsibilities

• Independently own test automation, CI and regression for a feature area
• Build and maintain pipelines, environments and release verification
• Cover feature, system, deployment, upgrade, security and release testing
• Use Agentic AI tools to accelerate test design and automation
• Coach juniors on Robot Framework, Python, CI and test reliability

Qualifications

Must-Have Skills:

• A Graduate / Master degree in Engineering or equivalent with 8+years of experience in SW/telecom product verification and test automation using Robot Framework, Python, and Bash for scripting and test environment setup.
• Proficiency in cloud-native software development on containerized platforms, including Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Strong foundation in core development and CI/CD tools such as Linux, Git, and GitLab CI/Jenkins for pipelines and automated test execution.
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and leveraging Agentic AI/AI-assisted development tools.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Familiarity with Helm for deployment and orchestration.
• Comprehensive experience across various testing types, including feature, entity, system, deployment, and upgrade testing.
• Proficiency in security and release testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of MantaRay NM product specifics.
