Manager-DPP SAT

 Roles & responsibilities 
From a broader organizational perspective, the KPMG US Audit Group is responsible for implementing PCAOB, AICPA and other standards setter’s methodology into KPMG’s audit methodology. US DPP Audit professionals are exposed to diverse projects that strengthen technical knowledge of professional standards, project management capabilities and professional relationships across the KPMG network. 
Within DPP, the Emerging Technologies team plays a key role in the firm’s system of quality control, reviewing the testing and understanding the control environment for each (SAT) before it is released.
Responsibilities:
Perform effective detailed review of SAT testing documentation to determine whether SATs operate as intended and produce reliable output.
Assess testing documentation to confirm completeness, accuracy, and compliance with the team’s process. 
Evaluate the control environment of SATs, including ITGCs, application controls, and relevant business process controls. 
Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve review comments on SAT documentation and any documentation gaps in a timely manner.

Plan, organize, and perform effective documentation reviews within timeframes committed. 
Execute the team’s monitoring control procedures over SATs within timeframes committed and assess the impact of findings.
Proactively communicate project status to team leaders and external stakeholders.
Engage in learning about the team’s process and recommending opportunities for improvement.
Identify, evaluate, and address risks related to compliance with professional standards and firm methodology when technology is used in an audit.
Leverage critical thinking and problem-solving skills to propose solutions to problems and issues identified
Build and maintain relationships with both US-based and India-based team as well as stakeholders submitting their technology for review.
Actively participate and contribute to team activities and meetings. Supervise and provide coaching to other GDC resources on SAT and other relevant matters.
