Job Description

The role of a Guest Service Associate in Food & Beverage Service is pivotal in ensuring that guests receive exceptional dining experiences. As a key member of the hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing excellent service, setting up dining areas, handling guest inquiries, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. You must be passionate about hospitality, have strong communication skills, and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide them with excellent customer service.
  • Assist guests in making menu choices and handle any special requests.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen staff.
  • Serve food and drinks efficiently and with impeccable presentation standards.
  • Setup dining areas before and after service, maintaining cleanliness and order.
  • Address any guest complaints or issues promptly and effectively to maintain satisfaction.
  • Restock supplies, refill condiments, and ensure station readiness for operations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to uphold service quality.
  • Process payments using the appropriate methods, ensuring accurate transactions.
  • Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and health standards consistently.
  • Provide guests with information about the establishment, menu, and offers.
  • Perform additional duties as required to enhance the guest experience and operations.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar guest service or hospitality role is preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills to interact clearly and professionally with guests.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a high-paced environment while maintaining composure.
  • Positive attitude with the willingness to enhance team morale and cooperation.
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices in a restaurant setting.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
