Could you be the A&CD - UX Writer (Contract) team we’re looking for? 

• Role & Responsibilities

Content Design

• Create microcopy for interfaces, workflows, navigation, forms, and actions.
• Define terminology and naming conventions across products.
• Write onboarding, guidance, help text, and instructional content.
• Create meaningful alerts, warnings, and diagnostic messages.

UX Writing & Communication

• Simplify technical concepts into understandable language.
• Ensure consistency of voice and tone across platforms.
• Improve readability and comprehension for operational users.
• Support localization and internationalization requirements.

Research & Validation

• Participate in usability testing activities.
• Validate content effectiveness through user feedback.
• Analyze content performance and identify improvements.

Design System Contribution

• Define content guidelines and writing standards.
• Build reusable content patterns and content libraries.
• Contribute to Alstom Design System governance.

• Preferred

• Enterprise software or platform experience.
• Technical writing capability.
• Experience with multilingual products.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards for content design.

• Eligibility

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Communication Design, Journalism, English, Technical Writing, Human Factors, Linguistics, or equivalent.
• 2–6 years of UX Writing, Content Design, or Technical Writing experience.
• Portfolio demonstrating UX writing and content strategy work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with design and product teams.
• Ability to simplify complex technical information.

Prospect

• Explore new avenues of rail mobility by developing proposals on User Experience / Passenger Experience Design on different Alstom platforms. 

• Collaborate with Senior Mentor & Team members to brainstorm and create innovative design solutions to ensure timely and efficient delivery. 

• Involve in Mobility design / CMF Design / trend research and provide insights for future physital solutions in larger ecosystem of Mass Mobility. 

• Engage in creating design presentations, visual content for UI / UX Assignments, design communication materials. 

• Contribute to an engaging, collaborative and a thriving studio culture. 

Note: Contractual Role (12-15 Months) - With greater possibility for long-term extension, based on performance evaluation.
