Partner with departments to develop procurement plans and strategies under the direction of the Area Procurement manager for Church departments in India or other countries/regions as assigned.
Source, vet, and select vendors of services and products as requested by different Church departments.
Manage purchases and supplier relations in the country. Support terms and condition negotiation with vendors.
Handle discard and disposal of used equipment and products in compliance with local legislation.
Analyse data, prepare reports, presentations and provide advise/recommendations on various Support Services matters as requested to ensure top-notch and timely services are provided to leaders and members
Provide Support Services to other Church departments when needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree holder in Business or related discipline and with at least 3 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and local language
Demonstrated experience on providing and leading improvements on customer service,
Possess strong business sense, organizational and negotiation skills
Ability to work effectively with a team by establishing and cultivating trusted and respectful relationships in a professional manner
Good data analysis, research, and computer skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office and common computer software
Driver license holder preferable
Must be able to travel as required (mostly within Asia)
