IT Project Manager

Looking for a Senior Software Project Manager to Plan, coordinate and manage a fast based, multi-faceted Projects to deliver value to SPX FLOW’s strategic business units. This role will support multiple projects in the IT applications sphere of influence including but not limited to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementations, application decommissioning/enhancements/upgrades, commercial applications, engineering applications and potentially new application implementations.

The Project Manager’s Scope Of Work Will Include

• Project planning, scheduling and task coordination/execution
• Change control & change management
• Testing cycle design and integration test (IT) and user acceptance test (UAT)
• Management of risks and issues that arise and maintaining project cost and schedule baselines
• Project cost management
  
  

We are looking for a candidate who can take in the complexities of each facet, simplify them to a point where we have a clear execution plan and drive the team to delivery. Strong organizational skills are a must.

Stakeholder engagement and relationship building will be key given the cross-organizational impact this Project has.

Required

Project Management

• Proven ability to manage a large, complex, Project consisting of multiple, parallel, initiatives
• Proven ability to apply Project Management approaches to a variety of Software solutions and approaches
• At least 5-10 years Software Project Management Experience
• Proven experience in the implementation of the core disciplines of project management
• Planning
• Scope Management
• Risk and Issue management
• Cost management: forecast versus actual
• Benefits Realization Management
• Required: Experience in management of SAP ERP (ECC6) projects
  

Communication

• Must be a fluent English speaker
• Must be able to clearly communicate complex problems to Business and IT teams
• Needs to be able to facilitate discussions between Business and IT groups (located in multiple countries)
• Must be able to identify and negotiate compromises without the need for escalation
• Manage the environment around the project, stakeholders
• Ability to present to the “C-Suite”
  
  

Technical

• Proficient: Microsoft Project Azure Dev Ops
• Proficient: Microsoft Office Toolset
  
  

Team Leadership

• Needs to be a motivated, energetic personality to drive the team to work to the pace of the fastest member
• Lead a team consisting of resources from multiple countries/backgrounds
• Needs to be an efficient delegator but be able to track that what was delegated gets done
• Be able to be “one of the team” but also do what is necessary to drive the team forward
• Facilitate to resolve problems and enable the team to define solutions.
• Bring together disparate teams, including vendors
