Finance Data Analyst

We are looking to hire a Financial Data Analyst to join our Finance team in Bangalore. Reporting to the CFO, this role will focus on building scalable data systems, developing advanced dashboards, and driving data-led decision making across the business.

This is a highly technical and data-focused role, requiring strong collaboration with Finance and IT teams to manage large-scale data platforms and deliver impactful insights.

What You’ll Do:

• Collect, analyse, and interpret large volumes of financial and operational data related to the Travel & Tourism business.
• Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes to provide timely insights to finance and leadership teams.
• Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for cost optimisation and revenue enhancement.
• Collaborate with finance, sales, marketing, and operations teams to understand data requirements and deliver customised reports.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing data validation and reconciliation procedures.
• Assist in the automation of routine financial data processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Stay current with industry trends, financial regulations, and best practices in data analysis and reporting.
  
  

What You’ll Bring:

• Experience in building and maintaining BI dashboards and reporting systems
• Strong understanding of SQL and cloud data platforms (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift)
• Knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and analytics ecosystems
• Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Exposure to AI/LLMs in analytics is a plus
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Shift Timing: 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM IST
• Experience working with large datasets and financial systems (ERP or accounting software) is desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of the Travel & Tourism industry landscape and its financial drivers is a strong plus.
