We are seeking an accomplished Director of Product Management to lead the LoJack connected car product line. This role is responsible for driving product strategy, execution, and innovation for our consumer-facing connected vehicle experiences.
In addition to leading the LoJack portfolio, this individual will play a key strategic role in advancing our platform integration initiative, helping unify and scale capabilities across our broader dealer solutions ecosystem. This is a high-impact role for a strategic thinker who can also execute tactically, delivering customer value while optimizing available resources.
What You’ll Do
Own the Product Vision & Strategy for LoJack’s connected car offerings, ensuring alignment with consumer and dealer needs, market dynamics, and overall company objectives.
Drive Platform Integration: Contribute to the development and execution of a multi-product platform strategy that enhances interoperability and user experience across our dealer solutions portfolio.
Lead Execution: Translate vision into actionable roadmaps and work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and operations teams to deliver features and enhancements on time and on budget.
Prioritize for Impact: Evaluate tradeoffs and make informed prioritization decisions that maximize business and customer value with available resources.
Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with GTM teams to support product launches, lifecycle marketing, pricing strategies, and performance tracking.
Analyze & Optimize: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data to drive continuous improvement and growth.
Product Strategy and Roadmap: Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for our product portfolio, aligned with Soleras overall strategic objectives.
Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape. Use these insights to inform product decisions and drive innovation.
Product Development: Collaborate with the engineering and design teams to develop and deliver high-quality software solutions that anticipate customer needs and delight our customers. Ensure timely and successful product launches.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and operations teams to understand customer feedback, gather requirements, and incorporate them into product planning and development.
Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers. Act as a product evangelist and advocate for the Vehicle Solutions Pillar.
Performance Measurement: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product initiatives. Regularly report on product performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of product managers, providing guidance and support in their day-to-day activities. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field. MBA or other relevant advanced degree is a plus.
Proven experience (min. 8+ years) in software product management, preferably in the automotive industry.
Strong understanding of the automotive retail and service sectors along with relevant experience in solutions including vehicle telematics, digital marketing, CRM, inventory management, and fixed-ops.
Demonstrated success in leading and delivering complex software products from concept to launch.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
Proactive and self-driven mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
