WCAS is a cornerstone of EYs Transformation offerings to clients, working in tandem with other EY practices to drive top line and bottom-line growth with measurable cash benefits.

Our team is committed to improving the cash-impacting processes of EY clients globally. We aim to help clients enhance their liquidity, resulting in increased Free Cash Flow (FCF) from operations. Our approach includes in-depth analysis and benchmarking, data-driven diagnostics of Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Forecast-to-Fulfil processes using EYs market leading methodologies and tools, and interventions focused on liquidity, such as Cash Flow Forecasting support.

The opportunity

We’re looking for Managers with 9-12 years of work experience and expertise across Order to cash (OTC), Procure to pay (PTP) and inventory optimization and have clear inroads to deliver on Working Capital Management Analytics. Key responsibilities

• Lead engagement teams executing WCAS which support key conclusions in developing and executing their Cash strategy and process optimization programs
• Assess the clients state of readiness with respect to people, resources, planning, data collection and strategy, while identifying high-risk areas, unidentified issues and areas for overall improvement.
• Build relationships with EY offices across the globe, and demonstrate knowledge of regional practices. Responsible for high degree of GDS user satisfaction with engagement process and work products
• Demonstrate strong knowledge in a particular industry (e.g., manufacturing, life sciences, consumer product goods, industrial products, technology, retail, PE etc.).
• Assist in business development activities including preparing presentations for pursuit meetings with clients to help sell advisory services
• Develop expertise on AP, AR and inventory optimization and comprehensive working capital analytics
• Qualitative research and presentations to support client strategy and EY business development activities using AI assistants such as Copilot etc.
• Develop best practices, supervise, coach, and mentor team members at the junior level.
• Manage and expand the existing set of stakeholders and build strong engagement metrics

Skills and attributes for success

• Inventory Management Expertise: Experience in inventory turnover analysis, just-in-time inventory practices, and demand forecasting to reduce holding and shortage costs
• Credit and Receivables Management: Knowledge of credit policies, credit analysis, and accounts receivable management through Quote-to-Cash process analysis and designing strategies to minimize days sales outstanding (DSO).
• Payables and Disbursements Management: Expertise in managing accounts payable and optimising the Procure-to-Pay cycle. Experience in implementing efficient payment processes to maximise days payables outstanding (DPO).
• Process Transformation experience- candidates with hands on experience of operational turnaround services - process design and improvement, planning, sourcing etc.
• Experience of working with stakeholders in global landscape
• Ability to determine risks and opportunity areas, assess findings and communicate insights
• Proven experience in interacting with senior management of clients
• Excellent problem solving, project management, facilitation skills
• Excellent people management and interpersonal skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience in developing final presentations
• Experience managing staff on multiple projects and providing direction to team members
• Experience in selling and delivering projects that cover the full lifecycle of assessment, design and implementation support.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Post Graduate degree in business, accounting, finance, engineering, computer science or related field from a premier institute with 9-12 years of applicable industry / analytics and/or consulting experience
• Track record of delivering performance improvement projects (min. 4-6 years) related to supply chain/inventory optimization, sourcing/procurement or sales/accounts receivable that deliver tangible results (cost reduction, increased cash flow, etc.).
