Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Resident Medical Officer to join our hospital team, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care within critical care environments. This position is essential for maintaining the highest standards of medical treatment and ensuring the well-being of patients requiring intensive monitoring and specialized attention. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing acute medical cases, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and upholding clinical excellence in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive medical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment plans for patients admitted to the ICU and CCU units.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in clinical condition or emergencies.
  • Collaborate with senior physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to develop and execute individualized care strategies.
  • Perform essential clinical procedures, including intubation, central line insertion, and other life-saving interventions as required.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in rounds, case discussions, and continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans, recovery processes, and post-discharge care instructions.

Requirements

  • Possess a minimum of 3 years of post-graduation experience in a hospital setting.
  • Demonstrated proficiency and hands-on experience in managing patients within Intensive Care Units (ICU) and Coronary Care Units (CCU).
  • Strong clinical judgment and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and ethical medical practice.
  • Current medical licensure and relevant certifications in critical care are mandatory.
