  • To ensure that the Standard Operating Procedures are followed in day to day activity.
  • To review standard operating procedures.
  • To review breakdown maintenance data and preventive maintenance records.
  • To approve the identified spares procurement for machines and equipment.
  • Review of root cause analysis for major breakdowns.
  • To ensure good documentation practices in department.
  • To ensure cGMP compliance at workplace.
  • To prepare and review reports and MIS data.
  • Vendor development and purchasing of engineering items.
  • Responsible for investigations, root cause and CAPA as SME from engineering department.
  • To ensure EHS procedures and practices are followed at site to achieve zero lost time accident and compliance.
  • EHS risk assessment and mitigation of risk at site.
  • Ensure the implementation of the Training Program (JD’S/TNI/Training Matrix /Training Plan Monitoring/Assessment/Recording/Effectiveness Check and Compliance.
  • To provide trainings to subordinates.
  • Review the training modules and impart trainings on GEP, GMP and OJT.
  • To identify the trainer for the trainings.
  • Responsible for projects/modification/expansion at site related to engineering.
  • Coordination with external service providers for engineering services at site.
  • Representing department for every inspection and audits.
  • Multi skilling and development of department persons.
  • Create high performance behavior within engineering department.
  • Preparation and control of revenue and capital budget of the department.
  • Optimum utilization of energy and resources.
  • Ensuring continuous improvements and engineering excellence.
  • Ensure SAP execution for Engineering activities.
  • To plan, maintain and review planned preventive maintenance of utility, water system and HVAC equipment’s.
  • Overall responsibility for operation and maintenance of water system, utility and HVAC system.
  • Installation and qualification of water system, utility and HVAC equipment’s at site.
  • Good exposure in JH and TPM activities
  • Greenfield and brownfield project exposure
  • Liaisoning with govt. approval
  • Identification and implementation of energy saving activities
  • Any other task assigned.
