About The Role

A fantastic opportunity has become available to support one of our leading residential Property Managers based across our Wynyard Quarter Head Office and Remuera Office.

As a Property Management Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the wider Property Management team to deliver an industry-leading service and drive high performance across the portfolio. Working closely with a Senior Property Manager, you will assist with day-to-day operations, helping to ensure properties are well managed and clients receive a high standard of service.

This is a fast-paced and varied role, ideal for someone who is organised, proactive, and keen to build their career in property management while contributing to a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct administrative and operational support to a Senior Property Manager in managing a residential portfolio
  • Conduct routine, entry, and exit inspections, ensuring accurate reporting and timely follow-up of required actions
  • Manage the end-to-end leasing process, including responding to enquiries, conducting viewings, processing applications, and securing new tenancies
  • Handle tenant, owner, and general enquiries professionally and efficiently, ensuring timely communication and resolution of issues
  • Coordinate maintenance requests, liaising with contractors and tenants to ensure works are completed to a high standard
  • Support rental growth and occupancy targets by proactively assisting with marketing and leasing vacant properties
  • Assist in monitoring portfolio performance, contributing to financial and growth objectives through accurate administration and reporting
  • Maintain up-to-date property records and ensure all documentation and systems are accurately managed

Key Attributes

  • Solid understanding of the real estate environment, with awareness of property management processes would be highly advantageous
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and presentation standards
  • Poished communicator with the ability to engage confidently with discerning clients and stakeholders
  • Service-driven mindset with a strong focus on delivering a high-quality client experience
  • Strong relationship builder with the ability to maintain rapport with tenants, landlords, and contractors
  • Eager to grow within a high-performing, professional property management team
