  • Salary between $127,641 - $149,295 (depending on experience), plus 15.4% superannuation
  • Temporary 12-month role

The team

The Evidence Services team provides evidence collection, management and analysis services using various databases and litigation support tools to assist ASICs regulatory teams to review and present evidence in courts and other bodies.

The role

As a Consulting Analyst, You Will

  • Partner with investigation teams to shape smart, technology‑enabled evidence review strategies that drive efficient and defensible outcomes.
  • Provide expert advice on evidence management and analytics, helping teams adopt best‑practice approaches and respond to emerging issues.
  • Prepare high‑quality criminal, civil and administrative briefs and disclosure using advanced eDiscovery tools such as Nuix Discover.
  • Design and deliver training, policies and procedures to lift capability across evidence management, analysis and review.
  • Apply strong data and digital skills, working confidently with databases, analytics tools and complex structured and unstructured datasets.
  • Maintain and enhance ASICs evidence management systems, driving consistency, quality and continuous improvement across teams and processes.

About You

Youll bring proven experience in consulting, eDiscovery, and evidence management, supported by strong technical capability with tools like Nuix, Relativity, EDT, and an understanding of digital forensics. In this role, youll work across the full lifecycle of investigations and litigation, from evidence collection and handling through to advanced review techniques, analytics, and eTrial preparation.

You Will Also Demonstrate

  • Experience and skills in managing stakeholder and service delivery expectations, responding to complex enquiries and resolving issues as they arise. Any certifications or programs required
  • Communication skills (verbally and written) to present complex information to different audiences. Stakeholder management experience including building, maintaining and utilising industry networks.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and be accountable for outcomes.
  • Understanding of legal and policy frameworks and regulatory approaches applicable in the financial services sector.
