Position Summary: -
As a Shift In-Charge, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the smooth operation of the plant during your assigned shift. You will coordinate production, Maintenance, utility, quality control, environment, housekeeping, and safety activities, ensuring compliance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company regulations.

Job Responsibility: -
- Ensure the plant operates efficiently and safely by defined SOPs during your shift.
- Plan, allocate, and monitor shift activities to meet production targets while ensuring quality standards and proper housekeeping.
- Monitor daily plant performance to ensure production, quality, and safety targets are met.
- Adhere to and enforce company policies, safety regulations, and management guidelines.
- Report daily to the Plant In-Charge and follow management protocols, particularly during emergencies.
- Foster a disciplined and safe work environment by ensuring all team members follow safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance and Utilities departments to ensure continuous plant operations.
- Supervise and guide production activities on the shop floor, addressing any issues during your shift.
- Oversee and support shift personnel, providing solutions to daily operational challenges.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to employees based on their skills and roles.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members and upper management.
- Train new and existing staff on procedures, ensuring consistent performance and safety standards.
Requirements: -
- Education: Bachelors degree in chemical engineering (B.E or B. Tech Chemical).
- Experience: 5- 10 years of experience, preferably in an agrochemical plant.
- Strong communication skills for effective coordination and reporting.
- In-depth technical knowledge of plant operations and process management.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with SAP (PP module) is a plus.
- Knowledge of safety management practices and the ability to implement safety protocols.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve process issues.
- Expertise in DCS operations and interlocks.

- Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a dynamic production environment.
