Assistant Manager

Handle mechanical engineering activities for API manufacturing plants and utilities. Review equipment specifications, datasheets, GA drawings, P&IDs, and technical documents. Support installation, commissioning, qualification, modification, and maintenance of mechanical equipment. Coordinate with production, QA, EHS, projects, and maintenance teams. Troubleshoot mechanical equipment issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions. Support equipment reliability and preventive/predictive maintenance programs. Prepare, review, update, and control engineering documents and equipment-related records. Maintain equipment files, drawings, manuals, specifications, inspection reports, and maintenance records. Ensure engineering documentation complies with company procedures, GMP requirements, and document-control practices. Conduct periodic review and reconciliation of engineering documents. Support preparation and closure of engineering deviations, CAPA, change controls, and audit observations. Ensure documents are readily available and traceable during internal and regulatory audits. Manage and maintain engineering-related data in SAP PM/MM. Create and maintain equipment masters, functional locations, BOMs, maintenance plans, task lists, and work orders. Ensure accurate recording of preventive and breakdown maintenance activities in SAP. Support spare-parts identification, material masters, reservations, and procurement-related activities. Monitor SAP maintenance history and generate reports for equipment performance and reliability. Coordinate with SAP/IT teams for master-data corrections, system enhancements, and issue resolution. Ensure SAP records are aligned with approved engineering documentation.
