Qualification/ Personal Attributes

• Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering
• 5–8 years of experience in battery assembly or similar discrete manufacturing processes
• Strong understanding of assembly line operations, manpower planning, and shift management
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen practices
• Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts

Job Description

• Responsible for managing assembly line operations during the assigned shift.
• Ensure production targets are met with adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Supervise shift manpower and ensure optimal utilization of resources.
• Monitor equipment and process parameters to minimize downtime and defects.
• Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams for issue resolution.
• Maintain shift-wise production records and ensure smooth handover.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in assembly processes.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, EHS, and other statutory requirements.
• Train and mentor operators and technicians for skill enhancement.
