Key Responsibilities
Academic Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
Develop annual plans, unit plans, lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
Ensure conceptual clarity through activity-based, experiential, and inquiry-driven learning methodologies.
Differentiate instruction to cater to diverse learning abilities.
Integrate technology and digital tools to enhance teaching and learning.
Conduct remedial and enrichment sessions based on student performance.
Prepare students for school examinations, Olympiads, and other Mathematics competitions where applicable.
Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and academic performance.
Assessment & Evaluation
Design formative and summative assessments aligned with CBSE guidelines.
Evaluate answer scripts, assignments, projects, and practical activities promptly.
Analyze assessment data to improve student outcomes.
Provide constructive and timely feedback to students and parents.
Classroom Management
Establish and maintain a safe, disciplined, and positive classroom environment.
Encourage active participation, collaboration, and independent thinking.
Promote values of respect, responsibility, and academic integrity.
Student Development
Mentor students in their academic and personal growth.
Identify students requiring additional academic support and provide intervention.
Encourage participation in Mathematics clubs, exhibitions, quizzes, and STEM activities.
Parent Communication
Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress.
Attend Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) and provide meaningful feedback.
Collaborate with parents to support student learning.
Professional Responsibilities
