CNC Setter

We are looking for an experienced CNC Setter to set up and optimize CNC machines for precision machining of aerospace and defence components. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with machine setup, tooling, and process optimization while ensuring adherence to stringent quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up CNC machining centers as per production drawings and process sheets.
• Install and align tools, fixtures, and workpieces for production.
• Perform first-off inspection and ensure components meet dimensional specifications.
• Monitor machine performance and make necessary setup adjustments.
• Coordinate with CNC Programmers, Operators, and Quality teams to achieve production targets.
• Follow aerospace quality standards, safety procedures, and documentation requirements.
  
  

• 4–6 years of experience as a CNC Setter in precision manufacturing.
• Experience with CNC Milling and/or Turning machines.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, GD&T, and use precision measuring instruments.
• Exposure to aerospace, defence, or high-precision manufacturing is preferred.
• Diploma/ITI in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
