Job Description

The Associate Vendor Operations is responsible for supporting the Local Operations Manager and Account Managers in the execution of day-to-day vendor operational activities. The role acts as the main operational point of contact for vendors, ensuring that operational requests, system updates, and issues are executed accurately and on time to support vendor performance and account objectives.

• Support the local Ops Manager & Account managers to improve operational metrics & setting vendors up for success
• Own new vendor onboarding processes including scanning inventory for catalog creation & ensuring 100% accuracy and completion of assortment information setting up branches across platforms & setting up opening hours
• Actioning vendor changes i.e. opening hours, contact numbers, assortment
• Coordinating monthly scanning dates for selected accounts and ensuring actions are taken immediately (updating catalog, price changes etc)
• Responsible for updating vendors assortment catalog and integrations process for assortment, inventory management & price updates
• Identify operational issues impacting performance (e.g., OOS, incorrect pricing, availability gaps) and resolve them promptly
• Regularly reviewing vendors assortment looking at orders generated & top out of stock worst offenders; sharing reports with the local ops manager
• Responsible for ensuring vendors have the right training, tools (devices etc) and processes in place ensuring local tracking, implementation and vendors compliance
• Vendors point of contact for any technical or process issues, creating incident tickets / providing guidance / solutions immediately
• Collaborate with other VCs within market and across the region for best practices and lessons learned
• Ability to carry out daily checks with limited support, ensuring all local processes are followed and completed
  
  

• 1+ years of experience in an operational, vendor support, or marketplace role
• Strong understanding of vendor operations and day-to-day execution
• Experience working with catalogs, inventory, pricing, and operational data
• Ability to document processes and operational guidelines
• Comfortable working with data and identifying key insights
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues, prioritize tasks, and escalate appropriately
• Understanding of grocery or Q-commerce operations is a strong advantage
• Ability to build, manage, and follow up with partners, establishing strong and trusted operational relationships
• Having your own car is an important requirement
