Executive Okta Administrator

Key Responsibilities

• • Administer and support the Okta Workforce Identity platform.  

  • Configure and manage Single Sign-On (SSO) using SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC).  

  • Configure and troubleshoot Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) policies.  

  • Manage user lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, and profile updates.  

  • Create and manage users, groups, applications, and group assignments.  

  • Configure application integrations using SAML, OIDC, and SWA.  

  • Support user provisioning and deprovisioning using SCIM where applicable.  

  • Monitor Okta system logs and troubleshoot authentication and provisioning issues.  

  • Implement and maintain sign-on and authentication policies.  

  • Assist in application onboarding and identity integration projects.  

  • Work with internal IT teams to resolve access-related incidents and service requests.  

• • Prepare and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures.  

  • Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and best practices.  

Qualifications

• • 1–3 years of hands-on experience with Okta Administration.  

  • Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts.  

  • Experience with:  

  • Okta Workforce Identity Cloud  

  • SAML 2.0  

  • OpenID Connect (OIDC)  

  • OAuth 2.0 (basic understanding)  

  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)  

  • Lifecycle Management  

  • Universal Directory  

  • Group Management  

  • Experience troubleshooting authentication and provisioning issues.  

  • Knowledge of Active Directory (AD) and LDAP integration.  

  • Basic understanding of SCIM provisioning.  

  • Familiarity with REST APIs and Postman is an advantage.  

  • Basic knowledge of any back-end scripting is preferred.  

  • Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
