Job Description

Purpose of Position
To provide accurate cost and quantity control through verification, measurement, and certification of works executed.
Major Responsibilities
Measure and quantify executed works.
Maintain measurement books and site-level records.
Validate contractor’s bills with construction manager.
Prepare variation statements and support cash flow monitoring.
Report deviations and cost implications.

Timely Submission of Reports
Cost Control & Budget Compliance
BOQ Management & Variation Control
Contractor Billing & Certification Efficiency
Documentation & Record Keeping
Site Coordination & Technical Compliance
Compliance with Standards & Procedures
Stakeholder Coordination
Contribution to Project Performance

Qualification And Experience

Graduate or equivalent in Civil Engineering / Certificate course from Institution of Quantity Surveying with 10 years of similar experience in execution of Residential/commercial / institutional buildings.
Skills & Qualities:
Proficiency in measurement and BOQ preparation.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Familiarity with IS codes and contract conditions.
Accuracy and integrity in reporting.
Excellent interpersonal skills
Should have good leadership abilities and skills.
Should be able to manage a team under him.
Should have a pleasing personality
Good communication skills.
