Introduction

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Aggregate Technology team. You will be responsible for product development and product maintenance, which includes modelling and drafting of mechanical parts in NX‑TC. Your role plays a crucial part in product development, and you will report to the Assistant Manager of Engineering. This position is primarily based in Alwar.

What Youll Do

Keep Metso HSE targets as a top priority in line with organizational legislation. Work under the guidance of the Lead Engineer along with the Project Manager when selected as a resource for any product development project. Additionally, you will work under the Engineering Manager or Lead Engineer to provide and implement engineering solutions for product updates and new developments, while being prepared for cross‑functional responsibilities.

Who You Are


  • Engineering degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed university.
  • Full professional proficiency in English for technical communication.
  • 4–6 years of experience working in a similar global engineering environment focused on design and engineering of similar product ranges.
  • Expertise in modelling and drafting using 3D‑CAD tools, preferably NX.
  • Working experience in a PLM environment.
  • Good knowledge of production processes such as fabrication and assembly.
  • Strong understanding of globally available raw materials, particularly various grades of steel and CI.
  • Capability to perform basic engineering calculations and analysis.
  • Good understanding and interpretation of FEA reports to take necessary actions.
  • Ablility to design components, parts, and complete products while considering applicability, manufacturability, cost, and complexity.
  • Able to innovate and improve existing technology.
