Job Description

Purpose

As a member of the corporate controllership team, the Sr. Corporate Financial Analyst will support key centralized corporate accounting functions and compliance activities.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations for corporate ledgers utilizing our Plex ERP system.
  • Prepare journal entries as part of the monthly close process.
  • Develop timely and insightful financial reporting and analysis for multiple plants
  • Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts and strategic plans for the business.
  • Ensure compliance with internal control policies and work with external auditors as needed.
  • Participate in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies including the review and implementation of process and system changes.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership in process improvements, system enhancements and development of analytical tools to support a more streamlined financial reporting function and better analytics.
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities for corporate and each of the US-based facilities.
  • Complete special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or equivalent education and experience.
  • 5 years of experience in accounting field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in automotive manufacturing or accounting firm.
  • Experience in a large accounting firm preferred.
  • CPA preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems a must – experience with Plex is preferred.
