As a Team Leader – Import Customs Manifest (ICM), you will lead a team responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant customs manifest submissions across multiple countries while driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.

The Team Leader is responsible for leading a high-performing team that manages the filing, maintenance, and governance of customer rates and contracts across Supply Chain Management (SCM). The role is accountable for delivering best-in-class automation and rate accuracy while ensuring contractual data is maintained to the highest quality standards.
In addition to operational leadership, the role will drive the team's transition from legacy systems to next-generation platforms, ensuring business continuity throughout the transformation. The Team Leader will also be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and implementing solutions to address the root causes of automation and accuracy gaps, partnering with cross-functional teams to influence platform enhancements that improve invoicing quality, operational efficiency, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of customer outcomes within the assigned sales vertical by leveraging a strong understanding of end-to-end SCM processes.
• Own operational performance for the assigned region or portfolio across all rate and contract management activities.
• Drive automation and accuracy KPIs through effective governance of contractual rates and continuous process improvement.
• Lead the team's transition from legacy platforms to new technology solutions, ensuring successful adoption and operational stability.
• Identify root causes of automation and accuracy gaps and drive corrective actions, including platform enhancement opportunities and process improvements.
• Partner with Product, Technology, Sales, Finance Operations, and other cross-functional teams to define business requirements and support platform development.
• Act as the primary point of contact between regional stakeholders and Global Service Centre (GSC) teams for customer-specific operational matters.
• Represent the GSC within the assigned cluster, fostering strong collaboration and resolving cross-functional issues.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to drive customer-focused solutions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor, analyse, and review customer-specific performance metrics, driving actions to improve operational outcomes.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members and subject matter experts, building capability and a strong succession pipeline.
• Create a high-performing, scalable, and engaged team culture through effective people leadership, coaching, and talent development.

Required Qualifications, Experience & Skills

• Proven experience managing large operational or service delivery teams.
• Demonstrated ability to lead geographically dispersed and cross-cultural teams.
• Strong leadership capabilities with experience in both people and process management.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior business stakeholders.
• Experience leading large-scale transformation, standardisation, and process improvement initiatives.
• Customer-centric mindset with a strong focus on delivering business outcomes.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into operational solutions.
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to drive resolution beyond defined functional boundaries.
• Results-oriented with a track record of delivering operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain Management processes, including contracting, commercial operations, invoicing, invoice-to-cash processes, and supporting technology platforms.
• Experience identifying business capability gaps and translating them into platform enhancement requirements while working closely with Product and Technology teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions and influence change.
