Specialist - Security

Purpose of the Role

Partner with business functions, to ensure effective articulation, identification, use of technology in a specified function to meet business objectives with a security operations mindset across assigned shift at Sanand Plant.

Key Responsibility Areas

• Manage day-to-day security operations across assigned shifts.
• Ensure proper handover/takeover between shifts with accurate documentation.
• Monitor attendance, discipline, and readiness of security personnel.
• Allocate security personnel across critical plant zones (entry/exit gates, perimeter, control rooms, sensitive areas).
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for manpower availability and deployment & Supervise CCTV operations and ensure real-time monitoring of plant premises.
• Conduct routine patrols and surprise checks to ensure vigilance and compliance.
• Report suspicious activities or security breaches immediately to DGM – Security.
• Act as first responder to any security-related incident or accident within the plant.
• Secure the site, gather preliminary information, and escalate to DGM – Security.
• Maintain awareness of local developments that may impact plant security (e.g., labor unrest, political activity, community issues).
