Job Description:
Designation: Senior Engineer
Department: EHS
Qualification:
Diploma Mechanical/Civil/Electrical/ BSc. And PDIS/ Safety Diploma/ADIS
Experience: 06-9 Years
Location: Gujarat
- Develop and assist site management in implementing company EHS Management System and project-specific EHS Plan.
- Guide teams on EHS practices, report site EHS observations to the responsible person, and proactively follow up on any identified concerns.
- Conduct EHS inspections of the work area, work methods, workers/staff, machinery, materials, P&M, and tools. Provide observations to the responsible person and follow up for compliance.
- Creating EHS awareness through Pep Talk.
- Co-ordinate Project Manager & Committee members in HIRA and its periodic review / updating.
- Conduct investigation of all near miss cases / Medical Treatment cases (MTC) / Lost time cases (LTC) / Fatal / dangerous occurrences and recommend appropriate corrective measures.
- Convene EHS Committee meeting & minute the proceedings for circulation & follow-up action.
- Advice & co-ordinate for implementation of Work Permit Systems.
- Report to EHSM on all matters relating to status of EHS and promotional programme at site level.
- Conduct Fire Drill, inspect and arrange to maintain Fire Extinguishers.
- Plan and conduct Special EHS training programs to prevent accidents.
- In the event of an emergency, coordinate with client and implement emergency evacuation plan as agreed.
- Organize campaigns, competitions & other special highlighting programmes to promote EHS in the workplace.
