Senior Engineer -Automation And Control Development

Position Summary

The purpose of the role is to ensure development and implementation of all software design for all types of products in injection molding and extrusion machines and to provide technical support for trouble shooting in the field for the machines.

Work You’ll Do

• Develop the software for new product and features as per demand from market, internal and external customers, competitor product analysis and improvements.
• Participate actively in the various development and design phases.
• Implements customer requests and development projects on time and within budget.
• Maintain and standardization to improve and upgrade the features of existing software for various machines.
• Work towards improving machine & human safety.
• Capable to work independently and provide out of box solution.
• Provide on-shore and off-shore support on global projects for existing machines and new products.
• Works with manufacturing to support our installed systems providing the best support to increase customer satisfaction.
• Identify and work on cost reduction & product improvement areas and take initiatives for improving product reliability.
• Remains current with new technologies to ensure our controls software solutions are leading edge and cost effective.
• Maintain records as per ISO, and other applicable standards.
• Maintain various MIS records, data preparation and analysis.
  
  

• Bachelor/Master of Engineering in Instrumentation / Mechatronics /Electronics & Communication/ Electrical or equivalent.
• 8 to 10 years of primary experience in Industrial automation control system having skill of Motion control, PLC programming, HMI design, field bus communications.
• Experience in IEC 61131-3 PLC programming and C/C++ languages.
• Higher-level languages like HTML5, JS, Python will be an advantage.
• Experience of working with global team will be advantages.
• Should be ready to work in different time zone for global projects.
• Able to independently complete all specific responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Experience in KEBA, Beckhoff and B&R controller will be an advantage.
