Job Description: Transportation & Logistics Analyst (OTM)

Experience: 6–8 years of experience in transportation, warehousing, route optimization, and cost–benefit analysis.

Role Purpose

Responsible for managing and optimizing transportation and inbound logistics operations with a focus on cost control, operational efficiency, KPI alignment, and system effectiveness. The role includes ownership of Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) processes, inbound prioritization for a major Business Unit, and analytical support for operational and developmental initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage transportation and warehousing activities with emphasis on route optimization and service performance.
  • Own inbound prioritization and carrier coordination for the largest Business Unit.
  • Coordinate with carriers to ensure execution, capacity alignment, and issue resolution.
  • Own extra cost approvals across all transportation lanes in line with defined guidelines.
  • Perform cost–benefit analysis to support transportation, routing, and carrier decisions.
  • Support spot carrier selection activities to enable cost optimization.
  • Assist in calculation, monitoring, and alignment of transportation KPIs.
  • Analyze operational performance data to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Take ownership of all OTM-related operational issues and coordinate with IT teams for resolution.
  • Support OTM enhancements by assisting with requirements clarification and functional alignment.
  • Participate in testing activities and provide support during hypercare phases.
  • Perform data analysis using advanced Excel to support operational and decision-making needs.
  • Participate in VSM (Value Stream Management) developmental projects and provide data as required.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of transportation and warehousing operations
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) is an added advantage
  • Advanced Excel and strong analytical mindset
  • Cost management and commercial analysis capability
  • Effective cross-functional and IT coordination skills
