Marketing Operations Senior Analyst

Position Summary:

We are looking for a Governance & Analytics Lead to own how marketing measures and proves value — the KPI map, the attribution model, data quality, and reporting for the Enterprise Marketing Operating System. This is the independent integrity referee that makes influenced-revenue numbers credible (rules, de-duplication, no self-marking), and the cross-functional insight engine that turns data — including win/loss analysis and competitive intelligence — into decisions for Marketing and for Sales, Product, Service, Engineering, and Leadership.

Work You’ll Do:

KPI & Reporting Governance

• Own the single-source KPI map, definitions, and dashboards across all strategic pillars and their programs.
• Maintain RAG status and exception reviews; publish executive and board reporting packs.
• Build and validate dashboards; guarantee KPI integrity and a single version of the truth.

Attribution & ROI — the Integrity Referee

• Own the multi-touch attribution model and credit rules — sourced, influenced, and assist — crediting each pillar exactly once.
• Adjudicate credit against agreed rules with no self-marking; jointly ratify definitions with Finance.
• Report marketing ROI and leverage; measure attribution coverage of marketing-influenced revenue.

Data Management & Quality

• Own the complete marketing-department data as the single repository, and make it readily available on-demand to marketing and cross-functional teams.
• Own data hygiene, master-data management, and taxonomy / UTM / tagging governance.
• Ensure data quality across CRM, marketing automation, BI, and the DAM.
• Define and enforce measurement standards for every new program.

Cross-Functional Analytics & Insight

• Run win/loss analysis and competitive-intelligence reporting; surface patterns that inform positioning and demand.
• Analyze funnel health, pipeline, velocity, and marketing-influenced revenue.
• Provide decision-ready insight not only to Marketing but to Sales, Product, Service, Engineering, and Leadership.

Martech, BI & Tooling

• Administer the BI/analytics stack and marketing-data integrations with IT and Engineering.
• Translate business questions into data models, reports, and self-serve views.
• Support the IT business-requirements and feasibility process for marketing data and systems.

Planning, Budget & Value Realization

• Track plan-vs-actual against the AOP / VCP; monitor budget adherence and variance.
• Prepare quarterly business-review analytics; quantify value realization against the long-range plan glide path.

Enablement & Decision Support

• Coach the team on metrics literacy and dashboard use.
• Design experiments and measurement for new initiatives; recommend actions from the data.

Team:

The Governance & Analytics Lead is the measurement and governance backbone of the marketing function, reporting to the Marketing Head and partnering closely with Finance, Sales, Product, Service, Engineering and IT, and with the Channel Lead and Communications Specialist.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years in business analytics, marketing operations, BI, or revenue operations, ideally in B2B / industrial contexts.
• Hands-on with BI tools (Power BI / Tableau / Looker), SQL, CRM / SFDC, and marketing automation.
• Proven experience with attribution modeling, funnel and pipeline analytics, and KPI / dashboard governance.
• Strong data-hygiene, taxonomy, and tagging-governance discipline; comfort with data-quality and MDM practices.
• Financial fluency — able to partner with Finance on ROI, budget adherence, and value realization.
• Excellent stakeholder management and data storytelling; able to make numbers credible and decisions obvious.
• High integrity and independence — comfortable acting as the neutral referee on credit and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters / MBA is preferred.
