Job Description

Quality Management & Strategy

  • Establish and enforce project-specific Quality Control plans, procedures, and standards aligned with ISO 9001 and contractual requirements.
  • Define quality objectives, KPIs, and monitoring mechanisms across all construction activities.
  • Provide strategic direction to QA/QC teams across multiple sites.

Inspection, Testing & Compliance

  • Oversee inspection and testing activities for civil, electrical, and mechanical works, ensuring adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and codes.
  • Review and approve Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality checklists.
  • Ensure timely witnessing and approval of critical tests and inspections.

Material & Vendor Quality Control

  • Establish systems for vendor qualification, material inspection, and supplier quality assurance.
  • Review Material Inspection Reports (MIRs), test certificates, and compliance documents.
  • Address vendor quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Non-Conformance & Corrective Action Management

  • Lead the NCR management process, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Monitor trends in non-conformances and drive systemic improvements to eliminate repeat issues.

Client Interface & Audits

  • Act as the primary quality interface with clients, consultants, and third-party inspectors.
  • Lead and manage client audits, internal audits, and external certification audits.
  • Ensure timely closure of audit observations and continuous compliance.

Documentation & Quality Records

  • Ensure accurate and complete quality documentation, including inspection records, test reports, and final quality dossiers.
  • Oversee preparation and submission of as-built documentation and project handover records.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop QA/QC engineers, inspectors, and site quality teams.
  • Conduct performance reviews and ensure competency development through training and knowledge sharing.

Continuous Improvement & Risk Management

  • Identify quality risks early and implement preventive measures across project lifecycles.
  • Drive lessons-learned initiatives, process optimization, and best-practice implementation.
  • Collaborate with construction and engineering teams to minimize rework and improve efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil / Electrical / Mechanical) (Master’s preferred).
  • 15–24 years of progressive experience in quality management within EPC, infrastructure, power, or renewable energy projects.
  • Strong exposure to ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
