PRINCIPAL ARCHITECT

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Principal Architect with hands-on experience in backend-heavy development, specializing in Python. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of backend technologies, databases, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps practices, along with a proven ability to create, implement, and document technical solutions. A strong foundation in architectural best practices, AWS cloud certification, and the ability to lead complex technical projects is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and design scalable, reliable, and efficient backend systems using Python.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand technical requirements and develop solution architectures that meet business needs.
• Ensure proper documentation of all solutions, including design decisions, architectural frameworks, and implementation guidelines.
• Drive AWS Cloud implementation strategies, ensuring alignment with cloud best practices and standards.
• Optimize database architectures and query performance across relational and non-relational databases.
• Oversee DevOps integration within the development lifecycle, implementing CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and infrastructure management.
• Act as a technical expert, providing mentorship to development teams and ensuring that architectural best practices are followed.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of technical projects.
• Conduct architectural reviews and provide recommendations for performance optimization, scalability, and security.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards, architectural patterns, and other best practices.
• Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including solution design, development, and implementation.
  
  

• 5-7 years of hands-on experience in backend development using Python.
• Strong expertise in architecting and designing solutions for complex projects.
• Deep understanding of databases (both SQL and NoSQL) and experience with database management and optimization.
• Proficiency with AWS Cloud services, with an AWS certification is added advantage.
• Experience in DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure management.
• Proven ability to document complex technical architectures, solutions, and processes.
• Experience in solution implementation and project execution, delivering enterprise-grade software solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide creative solutions to technical challenges.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
