Production Planning & Scheduling

• Prepare and monitor annual, monthly, weekly, and daily production plans.
• Develop project-wise and machine-wise manufacturing schedules.
• Ensure production activities are executed as per delivery commitments.
• Monitor work order progress and resolve scheduling conflicts.
  
  

Material Planning & Inventory Control

• Review and verify BOMs released by the Design Department.
• Generate material requirement plans (MRP) based on production schedules.
• Coordinate with Purchase and Stores departments for timely material availability.
• Monitor inventory levels and avoid material shortages or excess stock.
  
  

Capacity & Resource Planning

• Analyze manufacturing capacity and manpower availability.
• Plan machine loading and shop-floor activities.
• Optimize utilization of resources to improve productivity.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
  
  

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Production, Quality Assurance, Stores, and Service departments.
• Conduct regular production review meetings.
• Follow up on critical materials, outsourced jobs, and pending activities.
• Ensure smooth project flow from order receipt to machine dispatch.
  
  

Project Monitoring

• Track project milestones and delivery schedules.
• Prepare project progress reports and dashboards.
• Escalate delays and propose recovery plans.
• Ensure customer delivery commitments are met.
  
  

ERP & MIS Management

• Maintain PPC records and ERP data accuracy.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
• Analyze production performance and planning effectiveness.
• Provide management with planning and delivery status updates.
  
  

Continuous Improvement

• Implement PPC best practices and process improvements.
• Reduce manufacturing lead times.
• Improve production efficiency and on-time delivery performance.
• Develop and standardize planning procedures and controls.
  
  

Qualification

• BE / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
  
  

Experience

• 5 to 10 years of experience in Production Planning & Control.
• Experience in Pharmaceutical Machinery Manufacturing is mandatory/preferred.
• Experience in Injectable, Vial, Ampoule, Liquid Filling, Packaging, and Processing Machinery Manufacturing preferred.
