Job Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Golang Developer with strong expertise in debugging, root cause analysis, and system-level troubleshooting. The primary focus of this role will be to analyze complex distributed systems, identify issues, optimize business logic, and improve the reliability of existing Golang services running on GCP.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced debugging and root cause analysis on Golang applications
- Troubleshoot distributed and microservices-based systems
- Analyze, extract, and document business logic from existing codebases
- Collaborate with DevOps and cloud teams to resolve GCP-related issues
- Optimize performance, memory usage, and concurrency handling in Go applications
- Investigate logs, traces, and monitoring metrics to identify failures and bottlenecks
- Refactor legacy code for better maintainability and scalability
- Ensure reliability, stability, and performance under load
- Support incident resolution and post-mortem analysis
- 7+ years of software development experience
- Strong hands-on experience in Golang (Go)
- Deep understanding of Goroutines and concurrency patterns
- Strong knowledge of Channels and synchronization mechanisms
- Memory management and performance tuning expertise
- Strong debugging and root cause analysis skills
- Experience with GCP services such as Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Logging
- Experience with Microservices and distributed systems
- Proficiency with logs, monitoring tools, and observability platforms
- Experience with REST and gRPC APIs
- Strong knowledge of Git and version control systems
- Experience with Kubernetes and GKE
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Exposure to tracing tools like Jaeger or Zipkin
- Experience in high-scale production environments
- Ability to understand and work with existing systems quickly
- Immediate joiner preferred
