JDE Functional Analyst

Position Summary

The Senior Functional Analyst, having 10+ years of experience and specializing in Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE ERP), plays a critical role in analyzing, designing, and implementing business solutions within the JDE ERP environment. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, business acumen, and strong communication skills to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions.

Work You’ll Do

• Business Process Analysis & Requirements Gathering
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs.
• Document current processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications.
• System Configuration & Implementation
• Configure JDE E1 modules based on business requirements.
• Extensive experience with Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne modules such as Manufacturing, Distribution, and Inventory.
• Understanding business process workflows and how they map to JDE E1.
• Familiarity with SQL, BI Publisher, and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of system integrations and data migration.
• Support system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
• Assist in the development of customizations and integrations.
• Testing & Validation
• Develop test plans and scripts.
• Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure solutions meet business needs and are compliant with standards.
• Training & Support
• Provide end-user training and documentation.
• Offer ongoing support and issue resolution post-implementation.
• Project Management & Collaboration
• Work closely with technical teams, project managers, and business units.
• Participate in project planning, timelines, and deliverables.
  

Team

• Collaborates with stakeholders to understand business processes, needs, and objectives. This involves conducting workshops and gathering detailed requirements for new projects.
• Regular meetings with stakeholders to provide progress updates, ensuring they are informed and can communicate their future business vision through the system.
• Need to work with a cross-functional team to support project planning, execution, and tracking for operational initiatives.
  
  

Basic Qualifications And Certifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in any engineering stream
• Certifications in Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
• Experience with Agile or Waterfall project methodologies.
• Knowledge of modern ERP integrations.
