A Day in the Life:
As a Chromatography Specialist, youll play a critical role in supporting our global production facilities through expert application of HPLC/UPLC analytical techniques. Youll drive the accurate qualification and quantification of ingredients in finished products, ensuring the quality and consistency behind every can. This role goes beyond the lab bench, from developing and maintaining analytical procedures to executing test methods, training teams, and providing remote technical support across international operations. The Impact Youll Make:
Perform in facility investigative tests on precursor analytes, finished product, samples, variable, and procedural techniques to determine best methodology for precise and accurate identification and analysis.
Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis to effectively optimize the identification and quantification of analytes in beverage sample matrices.
Conduct routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of analytical instrumentation to uphold OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), GLP (Good Laboratory Practice), and corporate quality standards, enabling compliant, efficient, and reliable product release within the global network.
Adherence to GLP(Good Laboratory Practice) and GMP(Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines.
Maintain detailed records of all analytical tests and results to ensure further improved analysis by accounting for discovered phenomena which affect identification and quantification.
Performing in-facility investigative tests on precursor analytes, finished product, samples, variable, and procedural techniques to determine best procedure for precise and accurate identification and analysis.
Prepare contingency plans to ensure necessary output of analysis results is maintained in cases of unforeseen factors that could lead to adverse analysis or lack thereof.
Prepare reports to effectively communicate the analytical results of beverage samples that relate to specific analytes of interest and facility accuracy and sustainability.
Train sites both in-person and remotely using the instructional media, follow the direction for procedural instructions in order to safely and effectively analyze various beverage sample matrices.
Who You Are:
Prefer a Bachelors Degree in the field of -- Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Science, or related sciences preferred.
Between 3-5 years of experience in laboratory environment.
Between 3-5 years of experience in testing of finished product via HPLC and/or other Analytical equipment (i.e. AA, UV-Vis, pH, centrifuge, etc.).
Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (focus in Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams).
Exposure/experience with SAP Quality Module (ECC and S4 HANA). Exposure/experience with Smartsheet.
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Certification or Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) Certification is beneficial.
