Key Responsibilities
Partner with the business to shape and deliver the People elements of the business strategy and contributing towards achievement of People Business Plan
Collaborate with stakeholders and the wider people team to identify and build the capabilities required to deliver strategic goals. This includes working with key stakeholders - Unit Executives, Resource/Talent Managers, Talent Acquisition and Development teams, and other stakeholders to assess internal capability, analyze external market trends, and align talent supply with business demand
Engage and work with key stakeholders to improve employee engagement, developing, owning and leading the unit’s engagement action plan
Collaborate with the business and people function team, including the regional EDI manager to embed our EDI strategy
Provide coaching, guidance, and support to HR colleagues on a wide range of HR matters
Should have experience of managing grievances, and deal with disciplinary and performance cases
Offer robust advice on HR policies, employment terms and employment/immigration legislation
Work with the business to ensure people are fairly selected for the internal training programmes (eg., Emerging Leaders)
Work with the business to mitigate risk and provide advice and guidance accordingly within the purview of HR policies of the company
Should be able to contribute to wellbeing initiatives periodically. Devise mechanisms for employee feedback to ensure Mott MacDonald is a great place to work and grow
Support regional and/or group projects as required
Essential Candidate Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Strong analytical skills and capability to draw logical conclusions with data.
Strong strategic focus with the ability to balance tactical operations with strategic initiatives, achieving results through collaboration.
