  • Supplier Management:
    • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
    • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers.
  • Procurement Process:
    • Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
    • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
  • Compliance and Documentation:
    • Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
    • Maintain accurate and organized records of all purchasing activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and supplier contracts.
  • Cost Management:
    • Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with various departments, including R&D, production, and quality control, to understand their material and service needs.
    • Coordinate with the finance department to ensure timely payments and resolve any billing issues.
Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: MBA / B.Tech (Mech, Elec)
  • Experience: Fresher, with relevant internships or project experience in procurement/purchasing preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Familiarity with procurement software and tools is a plus.
    • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

  • Highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
