Job Description

As a Director of Statutory Reporting in the Financial Reporting Team, you’ll be a part of creating and delivering amazing customer experiences for the organization. The Director role is highly visible with frequent interactions with the leadership positions in the organization. This position reports to the Executive Director of Financial Reporting and will work closely with the Company’s Accounting and Corporate leaders.

The Directo role is responsible for ensuring accurate reporting across multiple international ledgers. The role requires a detailed-oriented individual that can retrieve and analyze data from multiple data sources and will work to create a team to identify and drive improvements in the statutory audit process.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Develop, hire and manage an accounting team that supports statutory compliance for international legal entities across the globe.
• Ensure that financial records and reports are maintained in compliance with company policies in both US and local GAAP.
• Work with external auditors to meet annual audit requirements.
• Performing detailed audit procedures over various income statement and balance sheet accounts.
• Assist with system transformation, and process improvement projects as sponsored by the Chief Financial Officer and/or SVP, Global Controller.
  
  
  

• Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree in Accounting required.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in a financial reporting role.
• Advanced knowledge of financial accounting / reporting preferably within or associated with publicly traded multinational Company.
• Understanding Oracle Finance and Hyperion with an ability to understand consolidation processes.
• High degree of proficiency with MS Excel and other Microsoft Office products with ability to retrieve data, manipulate such data and create useful analytical information.
