DevOps - Lead Engineer

We are looking for a new colleague is to become a full member of our system-team. The system-team consists of experienced SW developers and supports and expands the infrastructure for a backend software product that is being developed by six other development teams.

Mandatory Skills And Experience

6+ years of relevant professional experience

Infrastructure

• Basic understanding of Azure components (Kubernetes, network, …)
• Experience with working with Azure (pipelines, …)
• Basic understanding of SW development
• Understanding of programming concepts
• Practical experience with an (object-oriented) programming language (Java preferred)
• Basic proficiency in Bash and Python (or the ability to learn by yourself)
  
  

Softskills

• Ability to understand and solve complex problems
• Self-driven, independently working method
• Fluency in English at a professional level (clear pronunciation preferred)
• Willingness to work in a globally distributed team
  
  

Ideal candidates should also

• Experience with CI/CD concepts using tools like Jenkins, Concourse, Azure Devops
• Cloud computing expertise in deploying and managing various cloud resources like public IPs, firewalls, build agents, storage blobs, virtual machines in AWS, Azure
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, ARM template, Cloud formation
• Experience of using monitoring tools such as ELK stack, Dynatrace, Grafana, Splunk
• Knowledge of SecOps like Firewall Configuration, Security groups, DNS, Intrusion Detection, Gateways
• Experience working in agile teams, possibly with methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, SAFe
