Position: Business Development Executive

Location: Ahmedabad

Working Days: Monday – Friday

Shift Timing: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

We are looking for a motivated Business Development Executive to join our growing SaaS consulting team. The role focuses on engaging with inbound prospects, understanding their business requirements, demonstrating Zoho applications, and assisting in closing deals.

The candidate will work closely with prospects and internal teams to identify business challenges and propose suitable solutions using the Zoho ecosystem. This role involves a mix of sales, client consultation, and requirement documentation .

The ideal candidate should be comfortable interacting with business owners, understanding operational processes, and helping organizations adopt technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with inbound leads and understand their business requirements
  • Create and maintain lead records and deal stages in the CRM system
  • Conduct discovery calls with prospects to understand workflows and challenges
  • Schedule and conduct product demos for Zoho applications
  • Document business requirements and prepare initial scope or requirement notes
  • Coordinate with internal technical teams for solution discussions and feasibility
  • Maintain regular follow-ups with prospects through calls, emails, and meetings
  • Support preparation of solution proposals, BRD summaries, and scope documentation
  • Track sales progress and maintain accurate CRM updates
  • Manage communication with prospects and ensure timely responses
  • Work towards closing opportunities in coordination with the senior sales team

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or related field
  • 0–1 year experience in sales, business development, or client-facing roles (freshers with strong communication skills may apply)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to understand business processes and translate them into software requirements
  • Basic understanding of CRM systems or SaaS tools is preferred
  • Comfortable conducting online meetings and product demonstrations
  • Strong follow-up discipline and organizational ski lls
  • Good written and spoken communication in English and Hindi (additional languages are a plus)
  • Willingness to learn business software and consultative selling techniques
