The E-commerce Manager will oversee the end-to-end digital commerce ecosystem. This includes managing our standalone website, expanding onto major fashion marketplaces, driving digital marketing strategy, and streamlining fulfillment operations. The ideal candidate blends creative fashion intuition with data-driven operational discipline.
What You’ll Be Doing
Online Store Management (D2C)
Website UX: Optimize site navigation, product pages, and checkout flows to maximize conversion rates.
Catalog Management: Oversee timely product uploads, accurate descriptions, inventory syncing, and seasonal collections.
Tech Oversight: Manage the backend platform (e.g., Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce) and integrate necessary plugins with help of developers.
Marketplace Management
Channel Expansion: Launch, manage, and scale Niomi Couture on major fashion marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, Myntra, Nykaa, or regional platforms).
Listing Optimization: Ensure high-quality imagery, SEO-friendly titles, and competitive pricing structures across platforms.
Account Health: Monitor seller ratings, compliance metrics, and buy-box ownership.
Digital Marketing & Growth
Campaign Strategy: Plan and execute performance marketing strategies including Meta Ads, Google PPC, and Retargeting.
Retention Marketing: Drive customer loyalty and repeat purchases via Email and SMS marketing automation.
SEO & Content: Coordinate with creative teams to optimize keywords and produce high-converting landing pages.
Analytics: Track daily traffic, Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), and Customer Lifetime Value (LTV).
Operations & Logistics
Inventory Control: Partner with the production team to prevent stockouts and manage overstock situations.
Order Fulfillment: Coordinate with warehouse teams and logistics partners to ensure fast, damage-free shipping.
Customer Experience: Supervise the customer support workflow to quickly resolve returns, exchanges, and payment issues.
Reporting and Management
Reporting: Prepare monthly MIS and present various data points to brand owners and help them with insights.
Planning: Based on reports, make quarterly plans and execute and report every month.
Team: Hire and manage a lean team to run business and manage team performance.
What We’d Love To See
3–5 years of experience in e-commerce management, preferably within fashion, luxury, lifestyle, B2C, or D2C brands.
Proven experience managing both D2C websites and online marketplaces.
Hands-on understanding of e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of performance marketing, Meta Ads, Google Ads/PPC, retargeting, SEO, email/SMS marketing, and web analytics.
Experience working with marketplace seller panels and managing marketplace performance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good command of MS Excel/Google Sheets.
Ability to analyze business data, identify trends, prepare forecasts, and make data-driven decisions.
Strong ownership and execution skills with the ability to manage multiple aspects of an e-commerce business.
It’d Be Great If You Had
Experience scaling an online fashion, luxury, lifestyle, or premium consumer brand.
Experience managing end-to-end e-commerce P&L/revenue growth or significant ownership of business targets.
Experience with CRM and marketing automation tools for customer retention and lifecycle marketing.
Understanding of e-commerce analytics, conversion optimization, customer journey, and merchandising.
Experience building and managing a small, high-performing e-commerce team.
A hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to spot opportunities, solve problems, and turn insights into action.
