Job Description

As a Manager of Ecommerce Analytics, you will be at the forefront of analyzing digital data to drive strategic and tactical business decisions. You will lead a team to interpret data, analyze results, and provide management with insights that are essential for business optimization and growth in the ecommerce domain. Your role will involve understanding consumer behavior, performance metrics of online platforms, and leveraging insights to enhance the customer experience. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will play a crucial part in optimizing marketing efforts, improving user engagement, and increasing sales. You will also be responsible for the development and implementation of data collection systems and the identification of new analytical tools to drive efficiency and accuracy in reporting.


Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of analysts responsible for analyzing ecommerce performance data.
  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies to optimize sales and customer retention.
  • Produce actionable insights through the analysis of large data sets from digital sales channels.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of online marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with IT and ecommerce teams to improve data collection and analysis methods.
  • Create comprehensive reports and dashboards to report findings to senior management.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements based on data insights and analysis.
  • Work with product teams to incorporate analytics into product development and user experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with digital analytics trends and tools to implement best practices.
  • Consult with stakeholders to ensure alignment of data strategy with business goals.
  • Monitor competitive trends and benchmarks to identify potential business opportunities.
  • Provide training and support to junior analysts to develop their skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in ecommerce analytics, data interpretation, and reporting.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team of data analysts.
  • Proficiency in using analytics software such as SQL, R, Python, or similar.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically and analytically.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey data insights to stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms, marketing strategies, and consumer behavior.
