Job Description

The Finance & Accounts Manager is a pivotal role within an organization, responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, and the development of internal control policies and procedures. This professional ensures the company's financial operations are efficient, effective, and compliant with all legal obligations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and an ability to work well with cross-functional teams to ensure the financial success and health of the organization. This role requires an individual adept at developing strategic financial plans, managing cash flow, and providing leadership and direction to the accounting team.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts for the organization.
  • Implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools, and control systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and accounting standards.
  • Lead the finance and accounting team by providing guidance and support.
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports and statements.
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts.
  • Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.
  • Implement, monitor, and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and tax returns.
  • Provide financial analysis tools to evaluate company ventures or special projects.
  • Advise management on the allocation of company resources and risk-analysis measures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance managerial position.
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Excellent financial analytical skills and strategic planning abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial management software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
